Just arrived in part exchange is this 2010 Peugeot 308 hatchback.

Registered in July 2010 and finished in black with a complimentary black and grey interior, the car has covered just 95,000 miles from new.

Powered by Peugeot's 1.6 litre petrol engine through a 5-speed manual gearbox, the performance is surprisingly sprightly and, best of all, it's also ULEZ and Clean Air Zone compliant.

The ride and seats are both on the softer side, although nothing ever feels under-damped. The clutch and gearbox are both nice and positive in use, and the steering is nicely weighted.

Cosmetically the car does show some evidence of its age, with a few scratches and minor dents, and this is reflected in the asking price.

In short, the car drives really nicely, the air con blows cool if not actually cold and the radio works. But the car won't ever win any beauty awards. However, being a hatchback it'll offer versatile transport and should still have a few good years left in it yet.

The car is MOT'd until June 2025, and is therefore ready to drive away.
