Recently taken in part exchange is this 7-seater Nissan Qashqai.
Registered in late January 2009 on a late '58' plate and finished in black with a black leather interior, the car has been a workhorse from pretty much the get-go, which explains the current mileage of 184,000.
Despite the starship mileage, it actually drives very well - the two litre diesel engine pulls well, and the clutch, gearbox, steering and brakes are all nice and light and/or responsive. There are a couple of rattles from the interior, but overall it goes very well.
It's actually quite well equipped, with air con, roof rails, parking sensors, a panoramic sunroof and a (working) rear-view camera.
The terms of its condition, the paint on the front bumper isn't the greatest, and there's a scrape on the nearside rear arch, but overall it's not in terrible condition. And one consolation is that you could happily park it anywhere....
We have actually been using this as our courtesy car for the past few weeks, and it's handled that without any complaints. Therefore we're happy to say that we're happy with its reliability and would drive it anywhere.
In shore, this is an inexpensive but useful 7-seater, which will no doubt serve someone well.
The Qashqai is MOT'd until September 2025, and so is pretty well ready to drive away.
It will also come with three months' warranty.
Most major credit cards accepted.
